History
The railway line to Hua Hin emerged in 1911, during which time the original station was built. The beautiful station that exists was built by Prince Purachatra Jayakara, who based it off a proposed model for a museum that was never built.

Due to its distinctive East meets West architecture the Hua Hin station is considered a bit of a heritage site and popular tourist attraction, with many travellers staying in nearby Hua Hin resorts along the likes of Anantara Hua Hin Resort & Spa making it a point to experience this beautiful landmark.
