Sri Lanka is known for its beautiful natural resources and waterfalls are indeed one of the most amazing of these.
Bakers Falls
One of the best waterfalls in Sri Lanka, Bakers Falls is located in the Horton Plains National Park. As it’s wider than many of the waterfalls in the country, the streams it forms are also greater in number.
Rawana Falls
According to Truly Sri Lanka, it’s the widest waterfall in the country. If you have read the Ramayana, you probably know who King Rawana is and this spectacular waterfall has been named after him.
Bopath Ella
Bo Path is Sinhalese means the Bo Leaf! So, yes… this waterfall takes the shape of a Bo Leaf and it’s a breath-taking view. It’s located in Agalawatta, Sri Lanka.
St. Clairs Falls
This awe-inspiring waterfall is located around 3km away from Thalawakele. This waterfall is also called the Little Niagara due to its physique.
Bambarakanda Falls
It’s the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka with a height of 263 meters. The road to this waterfall can get worse during rains, but the view of the waterfall is worth it!
