The Sacred City of Anuradhapura: UNESCO World Heritage Site

This large stupa is believed to have been erected in the 2nd century BC. The monastery is one of the most visited and revered religious sites in the country.

The Moonstone

To admire Sri Lanka’s ancient architectural flair, visit the Moonstone, only a short ride from Anuradhapura. This is the second-largest architectural masterpiece of its kind.

Kuttam Pokuna

When translated to English, Kuttam Pokuna has the meaning ‘twin ponds’. The site is an example of ancient Sri Lanka’s hydrologic brilliance.
