The Sung Dynasty Village was built in the Kowloon region as a tourist attraction. The village gives a glimpse of life in China as it was 1000 years ago. The place is staffed by professional actors, dressed in authentic costumes, who carry out their various roles in the village. Visitors will get a chance to view a Chinese wedding parade, a spectacular acrobatic show and a breathtaking display of Kung Fu. The only type of money accepted is ‘Sung’ currency which can be bought from the village money changer. The village restaurant serves food and drink from the era offering a very delicious experience. In between the various events, you can have a look at the wax museum which depicts ancient emperors and ministers of China. There is also an amusement park right outside the settlement.
