Qasr Al Hosn
Built in 1790, this is the oldest stone building in the city. As it was constructed as a command unit, it overlooks the coastal trade routes. This complex contains two buildings called the Inner Fort and the Outer Palace. It was the Inner Fort that was constructed in 1795 as the Outer Palace was constructed only between 1939 and 1945. This building has now been converted into a museum.
