Planning a Visit
This site is in China’s Jilin province, south of the city of Changchun. Serviced apartments here located in Zhongmao World such as Somerset Zhongmao Changchun are around a 10-minute taxi ride away and make an ideal base. You can also reach the park’s main entrance (west) by bus including #270, 240, 130, 66 and 15.
Much to See
Encompassing 92 hectares, the expansive Changchun World Sculpture Park in China features hundreds of sculptures and art pieces of well-known artists from around the world. Featuring a lake in the centre, the park’s appeal is its outdoor setting where many of the works are displayed under a theme that covers peace, friendship and spring.
Well-Known Squares
Amongst the best things to do in Changchun is to explore the park’s various squares. Arguably the most popular one is Spring Square with its “Friendship, Peace, Spring” sculpture depicting three girls and a dove; in winter, the square has captivating snow sculptures too! Make time to also visit the Friendship, Peace and Rodin squares.
Four Museums
