Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade is one of the top attractions of Hong Kong. From here you can witness the Magnificent Skyline of the prestigious city. This promenade is 1.6 km long and the features a cultural centre a dining area, transporting area, the hundred year’s anniversary garden, and a place called Avenue of Stars and much more.
The history
Being a part of the old railway station the Promenade was constructed as part of beautifying the city. The construction of the pathway took place in two stages the first stage was completing the east part and was opened to the public in the year of 1982 and the west was opened in 1989.
Renovation
The renovation project was started in the year of 2004 and after 2 years the Promenade was reopened with many new attractions the project cost the government 190 billion Hong Kong dollars.
The modern Pathway
Today the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade houses some of the main attraction of Hong Kong namely, Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower, Avenue of Stars, Hong Kong Cultural Center, Hong Kong Space Museum and Hong Kong Museum of Art and visiting here will defiantly be a joyful experience.
Getting there
You can get here by an MTR train and get off at Tsim Sha Tsui Station and from there the Promenade is located at a walking distance. You can also find some of the best Kowloon hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui like the Park Hotel Hong Kong.
