Kandy War Cemetery
A must-visit place for some sombre reflection, Kandy War Cemetery is the burial ground of soldiers who sacrificed their lives during World War II. Among the casualties of the war were British, Sri Lankan, Indian, African, and French nationals. With well-maintained gardens with flowering plants, the cemetery offers a tranquil atmosphere.
