The initiative to create such a landscape was taken by the Princess mother. Doi Tung spans over 10 acres. Some of the blooms in the garden include dahlia, magnolia, petunia, azalea, salvia, rhododendron, gladiolus, aster, geranium, pansy, phlox, morning glory and lady’s slipper orchid. One can also walk through an ornamental garden, a rock garden, a water garden, and a palm garden apart from the flower gardens.
