Called the Volcanic One Tree Hill, the cone was once the highest point in the greatest fortress in the country. It contains a grave and a memorial.

Getting There
You can get there very easily from Naumi Hotel Auckland Airport by taking the train from Auckland to Greenlane and then walking for about a kilometre along Green Lane West. If you are coming by car you can take the exit off the Southern Motorway.
