The People’s Republic of China, located in East Asia is no doubt the most popullated country in the entire world. China has very many attractions and festivals to offer to its tourist population. The city of Sanya in the Hainan province is a city that is rich in things to see! For example it hosts one of the tallest statues in the world, the Guanyin Statue of Hainan which was completed in 2005. Amongst others is the Tianya Haijiao which is the end of the earth and the corner of the sea and of course Yalong Bay. From the other popular beaches in the country, Yalong Bay in Sanya is considered a favourite among many travellers.
Housing the most important elements of modern tourism, Yalong Bay has sunshine, sea, sand, fresh air and lush greens! Stretching over 7.5 kms, the beach is situated southeast of the province and is considered to be the best beach there. This bay embraces natural beauty and its scenery is truly amazing with the sparkling blue sea, sandy beaches and if you think Hawaii is amazing, think Hawaii times three! Also in the Yalong Bay area nature enthusiasts can find well preserved coral reefs which are streaming with tropical fish of many colours. The water is so clear that you can see 10 feet into it and the beauty that it holds. These coral reefs are a major tourist attraction for all visitors to China for it is rare that corals are so often well maintained.
When in Sanya do something apart from visiting Yalong Bay and head to the Butterfly Valley. This area is separated into five halls and these are home to the most indigenous, beautiful and enticing species of butterflies in China. Staying in Sanya is a magical experience if you look for a Sanya resort such as the Anantara Sanya Resort & Spa which is a great resort in Sanya. The city is a great place to be and do give the seafood a try as this is a must do. When venturing around pick up some unique souvenirs in the form of shell and crystal ornaments to complete your adventure.
