Location
The bay is located in the Quảng Ninh Province, Northern Vietnam. This is a major travel destination of the area thus tourists staying in properties such as Citadines Bayfront NhaTrang or any other hotels or luxury service apartment types can reach the bay through a short flight of about one hour and forty-five minutes.
What will you see
This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is filled with tiny lush green islets shaped in various sizes and limestone karsts. It is said that the evolution of karst on this island has taken over 20 million years. With an evergreen biodiversity, the bay is home to 60 endemic fauna and 14 floral species.
Overview
The bay covers an area of around 1553 km2 including over 2000 islets. The Ha Long Bay is the centre piece to a larger zone which shares similar climatic, geographical and geological characteristics including the Bái Tử Long Bay and the Cát Bà Island .
Time to go
The climate of the bay is similar to a tropical sea island. There are two seasons the summer and the winter. It is dry and cold during the winter and is not the best time to visit the bay.
