There are some amazing shows that you can catch if you’re staying locally in one of the Macau five-star hotels. These shows are either passing through Macau or have been recurring for some time now and they make a unique perspective to see Macau through.

House of Dancing Water
The House of Dancing Water was the brainchild of the famous creator and choreographer Franco Dragone and is only performed at the City of Dreams. There’s a 3.7-million-gallon pool over which death-defying acrobatics and diving is done in beautiful costumes to tell the tragedy of a shipwrecked stranger, an imprisoned princess and the quintessential evil stepmother. Tickets are priced between $980 and $580. And the show is on from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. every day except Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The House of Magic
The House of Magic features illusions by Franz Harary who is famous for his breath-taking illusions and marvellous magic tricks. Located within Macau’s largest entertainment hotspot in Studio City, it is a show that will transform you and transport you. There are three shows on the weekdays at 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. and on four on weekends at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8.30 p.m.
Macau International Fireworks Display Contest
Pyrotechnical professionals from around the world will be doing a 10-15-minute fireworks shows that can be viewed from various vantage points around Macau. The best place would be the Macau Tower which is 9 minutes’ drive from Hotel Okura Macau.
