Once you arrive, you must submit a completed incoming passenger card and have your visa (if applicable) and passport ready at the Department of Immigration and Border Protection checkpoint. For here, you can head to the baggage reclaim area on Level 0.
Transport Options
The airport is conveniently located around 7 km from the city within a 12-minute drive from accommodation providers like Avani Adelaide Residences. If you’re planning on driving yourself, you can easily rent a car from companies such as AVIS, Europcar and Hertz that have desks at the airport; keep in mind that when searching for the best hotel in Adelaide, opt for one that has secure onsite parking too. To get to the city from the airport, you can alternatively catch a taxi or use the Adelaide Metro.
For Departures
Since the requirements of the different airlines can vary when it comes to how soon you should check in for departures, check with the relevant airline. Ideally, stick with contactless check-in and download your boarding pass beforehand.
