The islands
There are two islands here; Koh Phi Phi Don and Koh Phi Phi Leh. The latter is a national forest reserve and is uninhabited. The famous Maya Bay is on Koh Phi Phi Leh but unfortunately, you cannot stay there. Koh Phi Phi Don is a famous tourist spot for those coming in from Phuket and Ao Nang.
Getting to Koh Phi Phi Phi Don
It is really easy; all you have to do is book your ferry ticket online and catch the ferry from Phuket. It’s a wonderful 3-hour journey with stunning views. Once you get here, your only means of getting around is by foot. There are very few cars on this island and all of them are used by locals. You’ll very rarely see traffic and people going everywhere on foot is the common practice.

Things to do
Although Maya Bay is closed for visitors now, there are many fun things to do here. Kho Bida Nok is a small island not too popular among tourists but is great for snorkelling. All other places are quite famous with tourists so the number one tip is to get there as early as possible before the masses hurl in.
