Gleaming in the sun or the dazzling lights of the city, the iconic PETRONAS Twin Towers is a wonder to behold and one of the ‘must visit’ sites in the Malaysian capital.
Planning Your Visit
These towering structures can be found in the KLCC locale in the heart of the city. Around a five-minute walk from Ascott Kuala Lumpur, the towers can be reached via LRT or MRT services (KLCC Station). It’s open from Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00am to 09:00pm. Note: on Friday’s it’s closed from 01:00pm to 02:30pm.
The Skybridge
Once you’ve got to the 88-storey PETRONAS Twin Towers from nearby hotels or serviced apartments in Kuala Lumpur, it’s time to head to the skybridge! This bridge joins the two structures and can be found on the 41st and 42nd floors. Suffice to say the views are stunning indeed.
Observation Deck
Of course, for truly breathtaking vistas, nothing beats the observation deck on Level 86 which provides a unique vantage point around 370 metres up! Apart from the inspiring panoramas you also get digital displays here where you can learn more about the towers and their design.

On a visit to the PETRONAS Twin Towers you can easily explore some other famous attractions in Kuala Lumpur; at the base of the towers is the upscale Suria KLCC mall home to Petrosains – The Discovery Centre and the PETRONAS Art Gallery. Aquaria KLCC at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and the idyllic KLCC Park are also within the area where you will find the towers.
