A modern city that has been constructed in 1970- Moranbah is today a sophisticated town with every required facility. It’s also home to over 9000 people now.
The history of the town
Before the Europeans decided to settle in Moranbah, this area was home to Aboriginal people. The Utah Development Company developed this city later in 1970 as a coal mining town.
Moranbah today
With all necessary facilities such as a state school, hospital, high school, and a railway network, Moranbah today is a well-developed city. Thanks to many Moranbah service apartments the likes of Oaks Moranbah Suites this area has now become tourist-friendly too.
