1. Top of the Town
If you are staying in an Ipswich hotel, you would most likely be placed in the CBD. It is a historic precinct that has given way to ritzy cafés, gift shops, craft beer houses and boutique shops.

The Murder Mystery train is reminiscent of an Agatha Christie novel, the vintage train car has been lovingly restored and plays host to a whodunnit with a three-course dinner. Passengers are invited to dress in their 60’s best.
3. Camp at Harding’s Paddock
Eight campsites located near Oaks Aspire Apartments, the campsite is free and beautifully maintained with shower cubicles, BBQ grills and picnic tables.
4. Woodlands of Marburg
The Woodlands of Marburg offers a 360-degree view of the valley with a historic bungalow perched at the top of the hill. The estate used to be a sawmill, a sugar mill and a rum distillery at certain points in history.
5. Queen’s Park
Established in 1864 and christened after Queen Victoria, the park has become the heart of the city today for whole families and visitors from all walks of life.
