An Excellent Dive
The Two-Mile reef dive is very great dive in terms of discovering various types of marine life as well as quite rich coral growth. It is often one of the excursions recommended by Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort and most of the other Mozambique resorts in the area.
Two Mile Reef
The Two-Mile reef is an ancient coastline which runs parallel to the North and South of Mozambique Archipelago. There are at least 25 miles of reef interrupted at intervals.
What You Can See There
There are many different habitats in the Two-Mile Reef including mangrove forests, rocky reefs and seagrass meadows. It is also home to a significant and probably the last population of dugongs in East Africa.
Migration Information
A dive will take you to close proximity to marine life such as eagle and devil rays, potato bass, pelagic fish, green moray eels, honeycomb moray eels and blacktip reef sharks among others.
