As soon as you enter the Langkawi Crocodile Farm, you will witness various ponds in which these terrifying creatures live. There is nothing to worry as the creatures are securely held within their caged surroundings. This Crocodile farm is massive with over 20 acres of land that holds more than 1000 species of reptile. In this vast area, the ponds are sectioned into different parts, and one such section is called the “feeding pond”. In here, visitors can observe how these terrifying creatures are fed, which is an impressive sight to behold as their razor-sharp teeth decimate the chucks of flesh. There is a separate pond named the “Species Pond” where various rare and common crocodile species are displayed. Featuring among these majestic creatures, is the impressive specimen known as Bujang Kawi, which is given much attention as he is the oldest crocodile in the facility and was born without teeth. The other pond is known as the “breeding pond” where crocodiles mate and nest.
It is in the “show pond” where all action happens. Visitors are able to witness the furious splashing and heart-stopping action only present at a real, live, and uncensored crocodile fight that is guaranteed to take your breath away when the trainer wrestles with one of these reptilian gargantuas. Audiences gasp and gawp in awe, at times even fearing for the safety of the crocodile trainer’s life! But there is nothing to worry as the crocodiles used in these are the most well disciplines creatures of the farm, and there is a secure bond established between them and their trainer.
Last but not least, the final pond is only for the bravest of brave souls, and this rather special enclave is known as the “Bridge over Pond”. If you are brave enough to get closer to these stunning reptilian creatures, you could cross the bridge over the pond to where they lie in wait. Are you ready to summon your inner crocodile hunter? Australian accent optional…

From stuffed baby crocodiles to replicas of crocodile teeth, you could purchase some unusual mementos to cherish this one-of-a-kind experience. The farm is open to the public from 9 am to 6 p.m.
