Senado Square or Largo do Senado is a must-visit attraction in Macau. It spans across an area of 3700 square meters and within this, there’s so much to explore and enjoy.
The history of this public square dates back even beyond the era of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). In 2005, this attraction was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO considering its historical and cultural significance.
You’ll quickly realise after seeing the buildings around that they also belong to the architectural styles of the Westerners in the good old days. Around this attraction, you may also find Chinese restaurants and shopping complexes.
