Regarded as the 20th century’s most significant archaeological excavations, the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses are found Xian, Shaanxi Province. Said to be created over 2,200 years ago, the site is currently famed for the large Terra Cotta Museum. This museum which is made of three buildings, houses about 8000 life-size pottery horses, chariots and warriors, most of which have been restored to their former glory.
