Galle Face Green
A popular hangout spot by the ocean, this vast public space is ideal for a family picnic, a leisurely stroll or kite flying, all amidst wonderful ocean views. Tip: don’t forget to try the deep fried prawn topped snack called “isso wade”!

Within a 10 minute walk from Colombo Court Hotel & Spa, this mall offers everything from mobile phones and electronics to clothing and shoes. It has an extensive food court, a small arcade and games area for kids and four cinemas too.
Colombo National Museum
For a bit of culture, visit the Colombo National Museum which offers insights into the island’s heritage. Housed within a huge colonial building, the museum features ancient artefacts, items from colonial times, traditional demon masks and exhibits from the days kings ruled the land.
Seema Malaka
A distinctive temple built over the waters of Beira Lake, the Seema Malaka showcases a unique blend of architectural styles including Sri Lankan, Thai and Chinese. A sacred site which offers an ideal escape from the bustling streets, it also features a variety of Buddha statues that add to its charm.
