1. Petronas Twin Towers
Built in 1998, the Petronas Twin Towers are 88 storeys high and an iconic landmark that is famous the world over. It is located in a premier shopping district and very close to the KLCC Park where families come from all over the city to exercise, picnic and play around.

2. KL Tower
Menara KL is the 7th tallest telecommunications tower in the whole world. It is also an observation deck that tourists can visit rather like the iconic towers elsewhere in the world. You can visit it through the monorail.
3. Little India Brickfields
Brickfields is the main Indian neighbourhood in Malaysia. There are Indian delicacies, Bollywood style décor and local supermarkets among others. It is just 550 metres from Alila Bangsar Kuala Lumpur.

4. Royal Palace “Isatana Negara”
The national palace was originally built in 1928 and was the King’s main residence. The king moved here in 2011, but before that, it belonged to a Chinese immigrant.
5. Kuala Lumpur Bird Park
The Bird Park is located inside the Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens and is only a 10-minute drive from the city centre. It is home to over 3,000 birds of which there are local and foreign species.
