Within a 15-minute drive from Chapung Sebali, this attraction in Padangtegal Village offers much to explore and plenty of photo opportunities of these long-tailed macaques who are playful and mischievous.
Ubud Art Market
Ubud is known for traditional arts and crafts which can be seen at its famous art market. There is much to peruse and purchase when here; these include locally made batik items, handwoven bags, jewellery, silk scarves, clothing, woodcarvings, statues, paintings and various other products that make for great souvenirs too.
The Elephant Cave
Locally referred to as “Goa Gajah”, the Elephant Cave does not, in fact, have any elephants! This ancient cave with its demon mouth entrance and statues within is worth visiting; outside one will find an idyllic courtyard, large stone carvings, a holy pond and fountains that add to the site’s allure.
