If you’re holidaying in Chiang Rai and are looking for a place to enjoy a fun day outdoors, then make plans to visit Singha Park where there’s much to explore and discover.
Getting There
The park is around 20 minutes from the downtown area of Chiang Rai and you can look to take a songthaew or meter taxi to the site. Those staying further away at properties such as Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort, can plan an excursion here and enjoy all this attraction has to offer.
What to Expect
Owned by the producer of Singha Beer, Boon Rawd Brewery, Singha Park features vast expanses with tea plantations, fruit orchards, barley fields and lakes set amidst mountain backdrops. On your visit here from your hotel in Chiang Rai, you will find a huge golden Singha logo statue at the entrance, which is a great spot for a selfie or two!
Exploring the Park
The best way to explore the park is by way of bicycles. While you can bring your own bikes, the option to rent them is there as well which is great if you’re travelling from abroad. An alternative way to get around would be to make use of the electric tram which is eco-friendly too!
Popular Activities
Apart from cycling there are plenty more fun things to do at Singha Park including visiting a mini zoo where you can see zebras and birds and even feed giraffes. Intrepid travellers can also look forward to an adventure rope course as well as zip-lining and rock climbing which add to the thrills.
