The Cathedral of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception is a cathedral located in the island of Mahé, Seychelles. The imposing structure was constructed in the 1850s, with the first vault being placed here in 1851 by Father Leon of Avanchers. The cathedral is one of the first to be built in the country and is still in use. The grand cathedral is known for its elegant design and is a tourist favourite. It is also the place where the body of Felix Paul, the first Seychellois Bishop, was buried in 2001. The tomb was built into the flooring and although it is not visible, the location is marked by a special plaque.
Renovations have been performed on the church several times, including a complete renovation between 1993 and 1994, so it does not quite resemble the original structure. The most recent renovations were done in 1995 and included the additions of carved doors and a tabernacle designed by Egbert Marday, the renowned local sculptor.

Other attractions to visit while in Mahé include the Domaine de Val des Pres, the George Camille Art Gallery, the Cousin Island Special Reserve, the Bel Air Cemetery and the Bicentennial Monument.
