The Du Fu Thatched Cottage is a museum and park dedicated to Du Fu, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. In the year 859 Du Fu settled in Chengdu where he constructed a thatched hut which would be his home for four years, the peak of his creativity. Today Du Fu’s Thatched Cottage depicts the works and life of the poet, with a library of his books and their foreign language translations.
