Mirissa Beach
Attracting all types of locals and tourists, this 2 kilometer stretch of golden sand is full of great restaurants and bars. Doesn’t matter if you’re looking to swim, surf or simply just sunbathe, the Mirissa beach will cater to all these needs.
Secret Beach Mirissa
As per the name, this secluded beach is a task to reach, however, once reached, it’s an incredible setting to watch a glorious sunset.
Unawatuna Beach
With a few simple beach bars and restaurants, Unawatuna is a rather popular southern beach in Sri Lanka. Easy to find, Unawatuna beach is located in a bay so you can swim around safely.
Hikkaduwa Beach
If you don’t want to travel too far from Colombo, you can visit Hikkaduwa beach which is located on the west coast. However, Hikkaduwa is a complete tourist hub, so be prepared to handle the crowds!
