The Ubud Monkey Forest is over 12.5-hectares large and is visited by over 10,000 tourists every month! The sanctuary is open for visitors daily from 8.30am until 6.30pm and visiting earlier is advised as the weather is more bearable then.

Some Tips for Visiting
Whilst feeding the monkeys may be on your bucket list, it is not advised in general. These animals may get aggressive with you and even if you run out of food, you will still smell like food, so the harassment won’t stop! Don’t panic, don’t look them in the eye and importantly, don’t run or attack. You’ll be fine!
