Whether you’re travelling with kids or with adults, checking out the Al Areen Wildlife Park and Reserve in Bahrain is always a great idea. Here’s what you can expect from this encounter.
Apartments in Bahrain
When on holiday, finding the right accommodation is crucial. As opposed to staying in a hotel, many now opt for serviced apartments in Bahrain. With many choices to pick from, the likes of Somerset Al Fateh Bahrain are a great choice for the amenities and central location.
Origins of the Park
The inspiration for opening this reserve was to spearhead the protection and preservation of Arabian wildlife. Those who visit can witness a variety of species of mammals and learn more about these critters and their value in the ecosystem.
Diversity of Animals
With so much to see and do, this park has been segregated for good order. You’ll be surprised to read that it’s home to around 82 species of bird, 45 species of mammal and 25 plant species! As such, it’s been segregated into a water birds park, a wild birds park, a wild animal complex along with a desert Flora Garden
Location and Times
This reserve is located in Bahrain in the area known as Al Markh. The park has been around for 3 decades and is open daily from 9 AM to 4 PM. However, it’s best to get there as early as possible to avoid the crowds and queues for the tickets!
